Dulce D. Moore Short Story Contest
for unpublished writers

Finalists have been notified

Winners will be announced at the
Colleyville Public Library Grand Re-Opening
June 6, 2011, 6:30 to 8:30 p.m.

1. Entries must be original and unpublished in any medium.
2. All genres welcome. (Extreme sexual material and pornography will not be considered.)
3. Short story should be 1,500 words minimum; 3000 words maximum.
4. Author name should be on cover sheet only; along with address, phone number and e-mail address.
5. Only three entries per writer will be accepted.
6. NPTWA members may not enter.
7. Include title on cover sheet and on each manuscript page.
8. All entries must be typed, double spaced and prepared in standard manuscript format with 12 pt.
9. A panel of published writers will serve as judges. The decisions of the judges are final.
10. Must be 18 or older to submit entry
11. Failure to follow the guidelines will result in disqualification.
12. Manuscripts will not be returned.

1st Place $100 plus one year membership in NTPWA
2nd Place $75
3rd Place $50
